'Little Couple' Stars Cut Price, Get Serious About Selling Their Houston Home

The price of the Houston home owned by "The Little Couple" stars was reduced twice since it was listed in September. It's now listed for $1.15 million.

When we last checked in on Dr. Jennifer Arnold and her husband, Bill Klein, stars of the popular TLC show "The Little Couple," in September, they had just put their colorful luxury home in Houston on the market for $1,225,000.

Then Hurricane Harvey hit the city, and while their luxurious four-bedroom, 4.5-bath, two-story house wasn't damaged, a lot of other homeowners in the area were less fortunate.

Therein lies a possible reason the couple's home hasn't been snapped up, according to listing agent Lisa S. Kornhauser with John Daugherty Realtors. She believes potential buyers are still waiting for their insurance payments post-Harvey.

"We expect an influx of buyers very soon, and we'll get it sold quickly," she said, explaining that insurance paperwork and processing could take some time.  "We're being proactive with the price."

The price was to $1,199,000 in mid-November, then to its current price of $1,149,000 at the end of the month. The agent believes the home has settled at a really attractive price, and is a perfect property for someone who wants to live in the area close to both the major medical center and the Galleria.

Of course, the fixtures for the couple's particular needs have been replaced with new, standard-height features. Kornhauser highlights the master suite, media room, study, wine grotto, and chef's kitchen on the main floor as standout features.

The backyard is also luxurious, with a pool and spa with water features, an outdoor kitchen, and a fire pit. In addition, there's a bonus room currently being used as a gym, right off the pool.

Painted blue with white trim, the plantation-style home also features an open floor plan, wood floors, vaulted ceilings, and elaborate moldings. "It's bright and light and lovely," says Kornhauser.

The reality TV stars moved from Texas to Florida because Arnold took a position at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital in St. Petersburg. For curious folks, their moving adventures (and misadventures) have been featured in Season 9 of "The Little Couple."
