Police: Westport man failed to appear

WESTPORT — A Westport man failed to appear for court, police said.

Around 2:30 p.m. on Sept. 18, an officer observed a man walking on Juniper Road wearing a harlequin mast and a hooded sweatshirt and stopped to speak with the man, identified as Adam Faillace, 39, police said.

During the interaction, the officer learned of an outstanding warrant for Faillace’s arrest and took him to police headquarters, where Faillace was charged with second-degree failure to appear.

Faillace was held in lieu of $2,500 court-set bond and transported to state Superior Court of Norwalk for arraignment the following morning, police said.
