WESTPORT — A Stamford man was charged with first-degree threatening and criminal violation of a protective order after harassing a Westport woman with repeated calls and threats of violence, police said.
On Nov. 17, 2017, a woman reported she was harassed by AC Robinson, 54, in violation of an active protective order. The victim reported Robinson called her cellphone about 15 times on Nov. 4. She only answered one of Robinson’s calls, during which Robinson said he would not leave her alone and would hurt her, police said.
The protective order prohibited Robinson from assaulting, abusing or harassing the victim, police said, adding Robinson’s violation of the order spurred police to submit a warrant for his arrest.
On Oct. 4, Robinson was taken into custody by Stamford police and transported to Westport headquarters. He was charged, held in lieu of $25,000 bond, and brought to the state Superior Court in Norwalk for arraignment the following morning.
