WESTPORT — The Norwalk Health Department, Fairfield Health Department, Westport-Weston Health District and other partner organizations in the Healthy for Life Project have teamed up to launch the Eat Well Healthy Restaurant Program, helping restaurants highlight healthier menu options and enabling consumers to make smarter choices when dining out.
The Eat Well Program launch party will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday at the Westport Weston Family YMCA at 14 Allen Raymond Lane in Westport.
Attendees will be able to taste healthy options from participating local restaurants and receive a free raffle ticket for the chance to win restaurant gift cards and other prizes. The YMCA is also offering a free day pass for attendees to use the facility on the day of the event.
