Westport Transitions: Construction underway on Bankside at National Hall

Construction continues on Tuesday at Bankside National Hall at 48-60 Wilton Road in Westport, at the former headquarters of Save the Children.

As envisioned in a design by Roger Ferris + Partners under developers David Adam Realty and Greenfield Partners, Bankside at National Hall will total more than 60,000 square feet of office space, providing another high-end boutique office in downtown Westport along with One Gorham Island across the Saugatuck River.

Built in 1960, the building was used by the Famous Artists School before Save the Children occupied it for 40 years through 2014, when it moved to Fairfield.
