STAMFORD — NBC Sports Group’s latest Sunday Night Football show attracted an average of about 22 million viewers across TV and digital platforms, according to data released Monday by the company.
SNF’s airing of the Houston Texans’ 28-22 home win Sunday against the New England Patriots ranked as the most-watched Week 13 SNF game on the NBC broadcast channel in the past nine years.
The show is averaging 20.7 million viewers across all platforms this season — its highest 13-week average since 2015 and up 4 percent from the same point of the 2018 NFL season.
SNF has posted an average audience at least 22 million this season, compared with two SNF games that garnered that many viewers during the first 13 weeks of last season.
On Nov. 10, the average audience of about 23.5 million who watched the Minnesota Vikings’ 28-24 win over the Dallas Cowboys made SNF the only prime-time series to average more than 20 million viewers across 100 broadcasts in the past decade.
As part of its growth, SNF’s digital audience continues to expand.
Through Week 13, the “average minute audience” for live streaming of SNF games was running at about 481,000 for the season — a 43 percent increase over the same period last season and the highest-ever digital audience for the first 13 weeks of a campaign.
NBC Sports is headquartered at 1 Blachley Road on Stamford’s East Side.
