UPDATE: According to the state's attorney the case against Charles Steuer was dismissed.
A New York state resident is facing drug charges following a motor vehicle stop on the Sherwood Island Connector on Sunday evening.

Subsequent to the motor vehicle stop about 5:10 p.m. Sunday for speeding, Steuer was "found to be in possession of prescription medication that was not prescribed to him," according to a police report.
He was held in lieu of $2,500 and is scheduled to appear Aug. 19 in Norwalk Superior Court.
