Two men were charged following a fight over a woman at Viva Zapata restaurant early Saturday, police said.
William Bennewitz, 27, of Beverly Hills, Calif., and Donald Duffy, 46, of Tall Pines Drive, Weston, were each charged with breach of peace in the 2:30 a.m. incident.
Bennewitz reportedly approached a female patron, made lewd remarks to her and then reportedly spit on her, according to the police report.
The woman's boyfriend, identified by police as Duffy, then confronted Bennewitz and a physical altercation ensued, police said.
Bennewitz was charged with breach of peace and is scheduled to appear July 22 in Norwalk Superior Court. Duffy was issued a summons on the scene for breach of peace and was released. He has the same court date as Bennewitz.
