A Norwalk man was charged with driving under the influence following a motor vehicle stop Saturday night.
John Konya, 56, of Stonecrop South Road, Norwalk, was charged after police said he was stopped because a headlight on his car was not working. Officers making the stop detected an odor of alcohol, according to the police report.
Konya failed roadside sobriety tests, police said, and was charged.
He was additionally issued a written warning for having no headlight.
Konya was released on $500 bond and is scheduled to appear April 23 in Norwalk Superior Court
