A Weston man was charged with driving under the influence after he was stopped for speeding on Riverside Avenue at 12:30 a.m. Wednesday.
Marcel Pohle, 45, of Treadwell Lane in Weston, was also charged with traveling unreasonably fast.
After Pohle was stopped for speeding, officers said they detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage.
Pohle was administered roadside sobriety tests, which he failed, police said. He was released after posting a $500 bond and is scheduled to appear March 17 in Norwalk Superior Court.
