Update: According to the state's attorney, the case against Clay Englehart was dismissed.
A Myrtle Avenue man faces narcotics and illegal fireworks charges following a Wednesday afternoon traffic stop.
Clay Englehart, 21, was stopped by police about 4:45 p.m. Wednesday and, according to police, officers spotted fireworks in the vehicle as well as a plastic bag containing a powdery substance that field tested positive for heroin.
Englehart was charged with possession of narcotics and possession of fireworks.
Bond was initially set at $2,500, which later was reduced on a promise to appear June 6 in Norwalk Superior Court.
