Lincoln, Nebraska. The UConn Huskies shook off a sluggish start to down BYU, 70-51 advancing to the Lincoln regional championship game where they'll face the winner of the Texas A & M-DePaul game.
It marks the ninth consecutive year the Huskies made it to the Elite 8 of the NCAA tournament.
The top-ranked Huskies got off to a slow start and at one point trailed the 12th-seeded Cougars by six points. UConn went on a 9-2 run to end the first half to take a 30-29 lead to the locker room.
The Huskies stepped up their game in the second half and went on to win their 37th game of the season.
